The test went fine and no one ran around screaming about the state of my uterus. From reading the tea leaves of the technician’s face, I’m guessing she found something but it was not urgent and I’ll have the results in about a week, which is how non-urgent things go here. :)

Let me guess, they are going to mail a piece of paper to your doctor. So far, after 5 years in Ontario, this is the most annoying thing for me about the health care situation. Have these people never heard of email? Or even fax?
I’m glad no one’s brain exploded, including yours.
It’s fax. But here’s the killer about my doctor’s office (which is a little nightmare and NOT typical of the Canadian system)… they have one 3-pronged plug in the whole Victorian. So the printer/fax, computer, and kettle cannot be plugged in all at the same time.
It’s amazing. But the results do seem to come through eventually… mostly.
One plug . . .ha ha ha . . . ohmigod I am going to die of laughter and it will be your doctor’s fault.
Power strip? No? How can they print anything if the printer and the computer can’t both be plugged in at the same time? The kettle, sure, that can wait.
I guess they never sterilize anything?
