the morning's dawn
You rise into
My east and cast your light
Where I was stone;
I breath,
This air is burning me.
You bring the dawn
And flowers open
Over all the thorns
I know,
This softness pierces me.
Your star's so bright
It cruelly casts
Away my very shadows --
I have always trusted
Shadows
To cover me.
And I am naked,
Standing here.
Before you,
Should I adore you?
All I know is
I am naked standing here.
You rouse the birds
Their cries are
Shattering my silence;
Music plays,
And I begin to dance.
If I should dance
This day and leave
The shadows all to
Melt away,
Will you still cast rays at my feet?
Your star's so bright
It cruelly casts
Away my very shadows --
I have always trusted
Shadows
To cover me.
And I am naked,
Standing here.
Before you,
Should I adore you?
All I know is
I am naked standing here.
I am naked, I feel the sun,
Oh will it burn and will I be undone -
Touch me once and
I will melt away
Your star's so bright
It cruelly casts
Away my very shadows --
I have always trusted
Shadows
To cover me.
And I am naked,
Standing here.
Before you,
Should I adore you?
All I know is
I am naked standing here.
I'm naked standing here.
